Detailed Manufacturing Flow

01. Incoming Material IQC

Verification of steel certificates, handle materials, and hardware thickness checks.

02. Blanking / Waterjet / Laser

Nesting optimization for minimal waste and precise raw shape cutting.

03. CNC Milling / Drilling

High-precision profiling of blade and handle, weight reduction slotting.

04. Deburr & Pre-Grind

Smoothing edges while maintaining critical edge protection zones.

05. Heat Treatment

Vacuum hardening followed by tempering specific to alloy (e.g., D2, 14C28N, M390).

06. Straightening / Stress Relief

Correction of any warping post-heat treat to ensure perfect flatness.

07. Precision Grinding

Primary and secondary bevel grinding, establishing the blade geometry.

08. Surface Finish

Application of aesthetic and protective finishes (Satin, Stonewash, DLC, etc.).

09. Handle Manufacturing

Machining and finishing of G10, Micarta, Aluminum, Titanium, or Carbon Fiber scales.

10. Assembly

Installation of pivot bearings, scales, clips, and hardware in clean assembly cells.

11. Tuning & Alignment

Expert adjustment for blade centering, detent feel, and lockup percentage (20-60%).

12. Final Sharpening

Sharpening to specified angle, burr removal, and edge retention verification.

13. Final QA + Cleaning + Packing

Comprehensive inspection, documentation, cleaning, and VCI packaging.
